• Maintained a mySQL Server databases and servers for the company and its clients that would allocate information such as names and addresses.

• Created user interface through VB for the use of the company (for the clients over the Internet). Queries would send data to its destination and thus essentially print the information via the (VB) created GUI. The response from the server would heavily depend on the user identifier. Each user's permissions would be set through the 'Client' group and then through its separate role

• Stored procedures and Functions were used in conjunction with the VB (GUI) for the use of data modification/manipulation and for the ease of editing and efficiency. The SELECT statement would create a view to post on the GUI. If the user tried to exit the program a command prompt would ask if the user would like to save the information. If the user pressed 'yes' and their credentials matched for editing a 'trigger' would run the UPDATE statement to allow changes

WEB DESIGN/GRAPHIC ARTIST

• With extensive use of Macromedia's Web Applications, including Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks, increased productivity with implementation of batch and advanced layer methods.

• Created, manipulated, and maintained a web application using Macromedia Flash's Actionscript with conjunction of PHP and MYSQL to create a web application for clients and users (PHP/MYSQL as the backend and Macromedia Flash as the interface).

• When a user clicked a dedicated UI button the document would retrieve the data. Then XML and CSS would format the remainder of the website depending on the user's settings. A JavaScript application would then retrieve information from the user's computer to relay back to the main application and complete the cycle.

 

• Created User Interfae through a mixture of Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver to layout the information. DHTML was then used to reference the layout based on the user’s input and settings entered through a set of instructions
